Whichever human resource management strategy an organisation adopts or implements it must work in accordance with employment law. Conference Chambers assists organisations on two main levels.
First is at ‘corporate’ level (whether or not the organisation has existing human resource management), advising on human resource management strategy and, having undertaken an audit of the organisation’s contracts of employment and, where applicable, staff/employee handbooks advise on suitable updates where applicable.
Second is, where an organisation has existing human resource management, working with HRM in order to provide it with regular key updates on employment law and to provide, where specifically requested, training on various practices such as staff recruitment, staff retention, dealing with staff grievances or disciplinary, redundancies and general awareness such as anti-discriminatory practices.
As expected, the former is undertaken at the organisation’s premises (which may well be at more than one location). However, the latter is invariably undertaken at the organisation’s premises also.
Our services are provided to organisations of various sizes. If you are interested in the above services or simply wish to enquire whether Conference Chambers could assist you, please contact Carole to discuss your requirements. All fees for initial and, where/if applicable, subsequent work are agreed with organisations and fixed in advance. Therefore, our clients are able to plan and budget efficiently and effectively.
“We are delighted to have been able to work with Conference Chambers who are supporting us in updating our Staff Handbook and Policies. More importantly however, their advice enabled us to manage a delicate HR situation effectively and the support provided by Carole and Ryan was invaluable. We would highly recommend that any organisation looking for legal or HR support contact Conference Chambers.” L. Laverty
