In 2004 Conference Chambers was formed by Ryan and Carole. Prior to this Ryan practised from a set of chambers in Bedford Row, London. When barristers were granted the right to receive instructions directly from the general public, after completing the requisite Public Access course, we made a strategic decision to move from 'Legal Land' around the four Inns and practise from Eastcote, Middlesex, in order to focus primarily on public access work.
In addition to providing legal services (advising in conference, advising in writing, settling/drafting legal documents, attending court/tribunals and general representations), we offer training workshops and seminars on all aspects of employment law, human resource management and good working practices. Such training and/or seminars are given or undertaken at our regular conference rooms or, if convenient, at clients' place of work.
Also, we assist organisations with their human resource management.
Conference Chambers is also an active member of the Eastcote Chamber of Commerce.
“Conference Chambers have had a real impact on the Voluntary sector in Hillingdon, putting on free training and providing 1:1 pro bono HR expert support is the sort of corporate interaction the sector needs” R. Burton
